Traditional car industry is challenging Tesla

The combustion engine is definitely on the verge of extinction: the traditional carmaker General Motors has pledged to make the switch to being 100% electric by 2035. Volkswagen, Ford and Toyota are already parting with petrol and diesel cars before this timeframe. This trend also has a significant impact on investor behavior.
Last year, Tesla was considered the top performer on the stock market. However, those who want to invest in the future of mobility are increasingly focusing on traditional carmakers. The old-car economy is revamping itself with new electric plans and adapted business models.
This year, pretty much the entire traditional car industry has outperformed Tesla on the stock market.
