Which issuers offer their products on deritrade?
Currently, investors can choose from eight leading issuers. The following providers currently offer prices: Basler Kantonalbank, BNP Paribas SA, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Société Générale, UBS AG, Vontobel AG and Zürcher Kantonalbank. Together, they represent over 70 percent of the exchange-traded volume in structured products in Switzerland.
Who is behind deritrade?
Bank Vontobel is behind deritrade. On the platform, however, Bank Vontobel is simply one of several issuers and equivalent to the other issuers. In some cases, Vontobel offers the best price, while in others issuer offers the best price in others. Users can then decide for themselves which issuer they would like to have the product issued with.
Are there different user profiles on the platform?
1. Profile with trading rights.
2. Profile with simulation rights. These users can forward simulations to other users with trading rights.
How can I understand the tailor-made issue of structured products?
Imagine you can’t find your dream suit in the clothing store. In another shop, the consultant offers you a new suit exactly to your taste within just a few moments. Exactly this is already reality today with structured products. You enter the key data of a product and within seconds it is created on deritrade.
Why do not all issuers of structured products offer a price on deritrade?
deritrade is a 1:1 mapping of the market for structured products. Not all issuers want or can offer a price for all products. This may, for example, depend on the underlying. However, issuer structures and prices are dynamic and can change relatively quickly.
Is there a transaction obligation for registered users?
No, there is no transaction obligation.
Is there a minimum trade amount?
The minimum investment volume per trade on deritrade is CHF 20,000, but this amount can be divided among several end customers.
Is the platform free of charge?
The use of deritrade is free of charge for our customers. Once the customer traded, the issuer charges a standard trading fee, which has already been included in the price quotation.
How and at what cost can I register?
Registration is free of charge. To register as a professional asset manager on deritrade, please use the contact form.
Do I have to be a Vontobel client to register with deritrade?
No, we act independently and are not dependent on Vontobel in this respect.
Will I receive training for the platform?
As soon as you have access to our platform, we will arrange a training session with you. We will visit you personally and introduce you to deritrade with all its functionalities. You will also find various videos on the platform explaining the functionalities step by step.
